I Found "It"

So I found my connection cord for my phone ^.^
This young man -----> is Mr. PK (PurrKittens) he is the son of Midnight the last one in the litter when he was born. He lives with my Sister (we shall call her Red because I have a lot of them ^.^) he is kinda the slow one but super cute  with he's gray suit and white accents.
<---- This one is Mr.Killua named after Hunter X Hunter, we were really big into it at that time. He was one of the three white babies that lived. (the mom had one that died at birth, it was hard I cried   while on the phone with the vet.) I wish I still had a pic of all the boys on a chair waiting to go to a good home. He ended up with my sister Red as well. He is also from the same litter and Midnight was the dad. I don't think I have posted pictures of the mom here, her name was Eclipse.  I no longer have her or Mid. they are in a better place I hope.

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! I found the pattern here PEARS!!! OMG I love pears soooooooooo much so I had to make it. She has other patterns that are cute too def. check out her blog!!!!! DO IT!! (she didn't ask me to talk about her). I JUST REALLY LOVE PEARS!!!!!!!
Last but not lest at recent picture of The Fat Cat or (Princess Fat Tail) as I so have named her lately. I just love my Evening she will come to anything I call her ^.^

Toro-kun

So He found the top to a pumpkin that I made a few years back and he LOVES it!  He would play with it allllllllllll night long till I hide it from him.
He would search for it and whine. One night he stole my yarn and throw it alllllll over the room as a way to get back at me! No joke it really seemed like that's what he was doing!

Trying to take a few action shots.
He could hear my husband coming up the stairs >.<
He wouldn't play with it till my husband was in the room *sigh* every time I try to get it on video.

Remember When ...

So remember how I said I would update when I bought and sold on Tophatter and Yardsellr well so far here it goes

Tophatter : I finally sold on  and  they ask for 10% of sale unless it comes to under a dollar. $1.00 is the lest amount you can pay  once your item has sold. Which is not bad because there is no member fee, no listing fee (I haven't gotten to buying quite yet I keep getting out bid ) it would be fine because they allow you to link your shop so people can but directly from you but some of the deals people put up are just too hard to pass up and so you bid war with others hoping to get it. Also if your item doesn't sell the first time relist its free and chances are the next group someone will buy it. I have also found that the lower the starting bid the higher the bidders will go. Take listing something for 1.00 and 2.00 shipped has the potential to go really high verses starting at 15.00 and 5.00 shipped. People like to feel they got a deal whether they did or not. So just a heads up if you are wondering about using this site. So once I shipped my item  I went in and changed the statues to shipped and added tracking number, super easy and simple but just a little confusing to get to that page on their site. Other then that its a fun site to try out.

Yardsellr : Not must to say yet I haven't sold anything on here and while I am given the option to change the price of my listed items I don't know that making them cheaper will make people buy it more.

Though like I said before everyone loves a deal. However there is a line between handmade and made in a sweatshop. As my Husband put it they want handmade for sweat shop prices and it doesn't get crafters anywhere when they are paying to to take their items they worked hard to make. Like I could list a Queen size hand crochet blanket on my shop but to even make it worth my time I would have to list it for $250+ not including the ungodly shipping I would have to add to that 25+ if I'm lucky. So yeah

OH also if you have been thinking about selling on Amazon.com give it a try I have sold a ton of books on there, its always been a good experiment and if your worried about taxes they have included a (1090?) tax form that you can use during tax time.

Keeping Busy

So I have been trying to get to an art show as a vendor but I always hear about it a little too late >.< . I have been looking for a job out in Arizona (Queen Creek)since I moved here back in January, and its been looking grim to say the lest. I had a few interviews but nothing good yet. *fingers crossed* So I have been keeping busy doing crafts to pass the time. I am so LUCKY to have Family that will let me stay with them for the price of cooking dinner and helping around the house ( don't know how much longer I can do this, but I hope they can ride it out till I get a job).  Here are a couple of pictures of thing I have been working on.

My Husbands Last Name begins with an M so I thought well I wanted to try this out cause how cute would it be to have a Monogram Pillow in the Letter Of your Last Name Right? Not just a pillow with the letter on it but the letter its self. I thought about buttons  but in the end decided not to.
Here you can see the finished product .. lets just say I didn't like the way it turned it out and almost throw it away but I think I might be able to do something with it to make it more appealing for me, but we will see how long that takes me to do.

OKAY so here it that thing I was making the other day I finally wrapped the hoop and sewed the crochet piece around it. Thinking of adding a Pink ribbon so that you can hang it nicely from a hook.

Here you can see how big it actually is. The hoop before wrapping and covering it was a 6" hoop which I had thought was a 5" hoop till I measured it, to my surprise. It finished out at roughly 8" from the outsides but still turned out SUPER CUTE!!! YAY! I used a variegated pink 100% cotton 10 count yarn, sadly I had old yarn and a brand new one which caused a different pattern color on it but because its a hoop and no one really studies them it looks perfect!.

Oh if your wondering what the green yarn is for that is another project I have started, sadly I had to take it out because I forgot if I was on a purl or knit  and messed up the pattern. So no picture of that untill I restart it and have some work done ^.^ .

Year of The Dragon

Year of the Dragon Crib Mobile, now available in my store as a custom made item! Each mobile will be made with 4 Dragons and 2 clouds along with 4 cute owls(this can be changed if you would like something else) LOTS of detail goes into each one!
Hung by a 2 hoop system made of wood covered in ribbon. I use lots of colors to catch the attention of the child.
Simply point a fan at it to make it move or touch it while you watch your little one.

Super cute and simple AND if you keep the mobile as your child gets older you can cut the stuffties off the ribbon and now they have a bunch of soft toys to play with.
